The Gondarians are from Minas Tirith. Some Gondarians are banished from Minas Tirith because of the Steward. He banished Berethor who fled from Osgiliath cowardly.
These men once protected the proud city of Osgiliath which protected Minas Tirth from river attacks now it has lost its honour by acting only as a battlefield.
